The Chris Salmon Poetry Extravaganza 2020

Following the enormous success of last year’s competition, which attracted over 1300 entries. The Christopher Salmon Foundation, in conjunction with Wirral Libraries, is pleased to announce that the Chris Salmon Poetry Extravaganza for 2020 will be open for entries on the 18th October 2019. The theme of this year’s competition is “Freedom”. The competition is open to Wirral residents of all ages. Cash prizes will be awarded to both winners, runners up & Highly Commended in five age categories. All winning poems will be published in a special anthology and the overall winning entry aged 16 and under will become Wirral Libraries Young Poet Laureate for 2020. Full details of this year’s competition and official entry forms will be available from Wirral libraries and on the charity’s website from 18th October 2020. Completed forms should be returned to Diane Mitchell at Birkenhead Library by 12 noon on 16/01/2020.

Click on your preferred format and you should get a 'Save' or Save As' box appear. Clicking 'Save' will usually save the document to your 'Downloads' folder. If you click 'Save As' then you can save it wherever you want on your computer.
